About Us
Sprouted Heart Acupuncture and Wellness is named after
the artistic whimsy of our owner's daughter, Delia. Her
heart-shaped drawing inspired the logo you see on our pages.
The child's self-expression describes the outpouring of love she
feels for life within, representing what we want to provide for
you as our patient.
As adults, those expressions can get lost in the pain and suffering of life. However, as humans, we have an amazing capacity to heal and be well.
At Sprouted Heart, we are here to help you heal, to reach your true health potential, and to feel more balanced in all areas of your life.
Our Staff
Jerusha DeGroote Stephens, LAc, FABROM
Jerusha is proud and honored to be the first licensed acupuncturist in the state of Mississippi and the Founder and President of the Mississippi Oriental Medicine Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to acupuncture advocacy.
While she treats patients with a wide range of conditions at Sprouted Heart, Jerusha specializes in helping men and women facing fertility issues using an integrative approach to their health.
Brynn Graham, DAOM, LAc
Brynn is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Portland, Oregon. She moved here with her Mississippi-born husband and joined Sprouted Heart in 2018.
She has had careers in both Western and Oriental medicines over the past three decades and skillfully utilizes the strengths from each one to benefit her patients with the best of both worlds.
Brynn specializes in treating both chronic and acute pain including musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and postoperative pain, and she has received extensive training in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain issues in both women and men. Additionally, Brynn specializes in treating chronic conditions in aging adults as well as women’s health conditions.
